The service project was led by Wildheart Ministries, a nonprofit organization focused on improving conditions in the Harrisburg neighborhood of Allison Hill under its “Love the Hill” initiative. Volunteers participated in an array of initiatives including picking up litter, weeding, landscaping, and small construction projects.

According to Wildheart Ministries, since 2017, the nonprofit has partnered with over 11,700 volunteers to remove over 2.8 million pounds of trash from 136 blocks of the Allison Hill neighborhood, impacting roughly 2,300+ families. Volunteer efforts have caused a drastic shift in improved environmental conditions, a marked boost in community morale, and a significant decrease in crime and homicide rates.

The Prismworks staff was grateful to participate in such an impactful event!
