Hampden Township is a first-class township in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Serving a population of over 30,000 residents, the township expanded its headquarters in 2019 when it began construction on a new building. Seeking assistance for its technology needs, Hampden Township asked Prismworks to bid on the IT portion of the building.
As the township established its new home, Prismworks created its secure network and virtual server environment. Prismworks also allowed the township to minimize hardware costs by extending the life of their end-user desktops.
Prismworks staff members President Mark Crescenzi, Technical Services Manager Mark Douglas, and Implementation Engineer and Technical Lead Nick Wright serve as reliable IT resources for Hampden Township.
“The experience has been great. Prismworks staff always have the solution to any of our problems and were key players in a few after-hours emergency issues that we had trouble resolving,” said Scott McGee, IT Manager for Hampden Township.

“We utilize their services as a third set of eyes on our servers. Our servers never sleep, so anytime we’ve had a major outage after hours, Prismworks staff was always available to assist us.”
